I loved the contrast of this Indian vow renewal photoshoot with the rustic look and feel of Chianti. The tuscan countryside provided the perfect setting to enhance the beauty of the ornaments of Bejal’s dress, who wasn’t aware of the photoshoot until the very last. As matter of facts, his husband Will had the desire to surprise her and did contact to me to set up the perfect plan.
We discussed ideas about his vision and also clothing to make sure I could propose a perfect setting for the occasion. I immediately thought of this tiny village in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, not too far from Florence. I knew they would like it as much as I do. While we were there, it felt like being out of a time. Away from the hustle and bustle of Florence, it was pure magic. Bejal wore a black dress with gold ornaments and jewellery, which was ideal for a portrait photography session. As a destination wedding photographer, clients usually ask me for my advice regarding what should they wear on the day of the photoshoot. And I love giving them my advice. I was really happy to work with Will, and, all in all, I reckon we came up with a very good plan all together.
Needless to say, Bejal was kind of in a (positive) shock when she found out that a photograph had been hired for the occasion. Luckily, Will had sort of slightly warned her to make sure she would be ready for the occasion. If one hand it’s true that ladies like surprises, sometimes it may not be a good idea to surprise them!
